Description Product Manager - Senior The Product Manager - Senior is responsible for all affordable-related product management responsibilities to support Home Lending's CRA and Strategic Community Plan objectives. This includes managing Home Lending's saleable, portfolio, state bond, and Down Payment Assistance products and program. The Product Manager - Senior will lead implementation of new products, develop training, marketing, and educational content, conduct system testing, and be active in the lending industry. This position collaborates closely with the CRA Mortgage Region Manager, Product Group Manager, Sales Management, the Sales and Service team, and other members of the Affordable Lending and Product Management teams to build a robust product delivery and support strategy. Specific responsibilities include:
Align affordable lending products and programs to established Home Lending goals, including those related to CRA goals and the Strategic Community Plan. Maintain product profiles for saleable, portfolio, and state bond affordable lending products. Oversee process associated with identifying and implementing new Down Payment Assistance programs outside of those offered by state housing authorities. Oversee administration and tracking of Home Lending-specific promotions, such as closing cost assistance programs, for affordable products. Develop reporting and metrics that provide meaningful insight into product performance, sales behavior, and overall affordable lending program performance. Develop product and system training to assist MLOs in delivering affordable lending products and services. Manage relationships with state housing authorities, including supporting expansion of state bond programs into new states when warranted, maintaining Home Lending's ability to offer existing programs, and supporting new programs offered by existing partners. Develop, maintain, and revise affordable lending marketing materials, including the Community Impact Brochure. Partner with CRA Mortgage Region Managers, State CRA Mortgage Managers and Sales and Service to identify product training needs as well as opportunities to gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders. Partner with the CRA Mortgage Region Manager and Product Group Manager to determine product, technology, and strategic needs for the department. In partnership with the CRA Mortgage Region Manager, develop and enhance the strategies used to cultivate stronger relationship with community partners in new and established markets. Participate actively in the mortgage industry to stay informed on new and emerging ideas; this includes building close relationships with state HFAs, hosting and attending forums with industry partners, and engaging with state and national trade organizations. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 5-7 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications 5
years of mortgage industry experience with a focus in one or more of the following:
product management, process design, business analytics, or capital markets. Pasion for understanding and servicing affordable lending customers. Ability to translate complex thought processes or analyses into actionable insights, including senior management presentations. Comfort and ability to present to medium-to-large groups of colleagues or industry stakeholders. Capable of managing complex business processes, such as bringing new products to market and designing workflows that span multiple departments. Experience working in a matrixed environment that requires collaboration across multiple business lines, including with risk management functions. Experience preparing and delivering training content. Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence software packages. Experience working directly with industry players, such as state housing authorities, industry working groups, or nonprofits / community groups
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
