Your Opportunity Oversees business processes, management, and product execution of Value-Added Fresh Meats to ensure consistent manufacturing and quality standards are achieved. Researches, develops, and implements techniques to improve end-to-end product efficiencies across all functional departments. Collaborates with Business Management, Operations, Marketing, Technical Services, and other functional teams to identify manufacturing opportunities for product development and distribution to increase profitability. Core Responsibilities Serves as Category Expert for assigned areas of operations for the organization. Provides short-term, transitional, and long-term tactical and strategical plans to the Organization Leadership both at the plant and senior levels. Identifies and implements process and product improvement opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs, and improve yields, and quality. Identifies areas of opportunities to simplify processes, reduce complexity within the product category and build capacity models to show incremental growth. Works closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities that drive consistent manufacturing excellence of various fresh meats products. Leads projects and product development by conducting strategic data analyses with Ops, SP, BMs, ENG, and others to reduce complexity and improve cost. Creates a road map on how to execute short-term and long-term strategies to maximize productivity and operational excellence. Works closely with Business Management, Procurement, Supply Planning, and Operations to develop a strategy for right product-to-right plant to optimize capacity, better utilize assets, raw materials and labor. Ensures the development, collaboration, approval of project business cases, and execution to budget and cost savings. Franchises best practices by aligning the organization's overall strategic business initiatives to achieve consistent quality raw materials, manufacturing excellence, standardized operating processes and procedures. Works with plants to ensure inbound product specifications meet optimal product quality standards. Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and 5
years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. In-depth knowledge of relevant industry processes. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to coordinate projects and lead multiple teams. Report and procedure writing skills. Effective critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills. Understands system capabilities and finds ways to improve system performance. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and executive leadership, via written and/or verbal communication. Ability to develop positive relationships when part of a dynamic and cross-functional team. Ability to communicate across organizational boundaries and reporting lines. Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Process ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
