Job Description We are looking for strong technical talent to join us as we build, scale and innovatively develop our industry leading platform for access control and office automation. Strong analytical and software skills are a must in order to join our team, and we are particularly seeking candidates with experience and skills in multiple technologies, in order to contribute broadly to our team-centric approach to product development. Our engineering team aids in building the infrastructure that seamlessly supports the business and its growing customer base. Responsibilities:
Designing and developing highly reliable firmware for our internally-designed embedded systems as well as hardware interface services in the Linux environment R&D for new product in the commercial security sector Working with engineers from prototype to production of new products Create and manage drivers for Linux based operating systems Implement and test security communication protocols Taking ownership of your firmware products, including verification testing and writing documentation Working closely with cross-functional teams for product development, bring up, and product Aid in hardware and firmware architecture discussions Support for internal and external manufacturing efforts for product quality control and bring up Determine RF performance optimization method
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field 7
years of experience of programming in C+
in an embedded environment 5
years working with embedded processors such ARM, AVR, etc Strong ability to debug and root cause field failures and turn into correctable action for integration into firmware release pipeline Comfort using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, JTAG, and similar debugging tools Comfort using memory debuggers Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Hardware Development, Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
