Summary:
This position will report to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistant recruiting team. The successful candidate will partner with the existing teammates to help build several talent pipelines for VCA hospitals across the United States. He or she will serve as a subject matter expert on recruiting strategies, processes, and industry trends. Develop and Lead VCA's National Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistant Recruiting Program Lead recruitment efforts to attract students from Veterinary Technician programs across U.S. - developing and managing the relationships with Veterinary Technician schools Oversee successful recruitment efforts while building a pipeline of experienced Veterinary Technicians & Veterinary Assistant candidates. Managing the day-to-day performance of the Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistant recruiting team. Establish and deliver against established recruiting goals and metrics. Manage and evaluate the recruiting processes, team, and training to further expand upon our existing recruiting practices, ensuring consistency and best practices are followed throughout the recruiting lifecycle. Manage, mentor, coach, and grow recruiting team members to align with business needs. Manage the full recruiting life cycle to ensure recruiters present best in-class candidates, conducting strong in-depth technical screenings, interviews and debriefs. Engage and collaborate with the hiring managers/department leaders to understand hiring requirements, set realistic expectations and educate on the recruiting process. Develop a mechanism to ensure regular communication occurs within the team and with our clients. Meet with HR and non-HR stakeholders to review sourcing practices, strategies, metrics, and results to collaboratively optimize approaches to strengthen candidate pools, and diversity initiatives. Ability to learn and teach technical Workday Recruiting system requirements with the goal of becoming a recognized Subject Matter Expert within the team. Manage the performance of external recruiting partners. Be fluent about contract terms and conditions of external Recruiting Partners to provide in-depth knowledge to the team. Present the recruiting strategy and results at regional field meetings as necessary. Represent the VCA employer brand through visits and presentations at national conferences, Vet Tech schools Establish an internal customer service mindset by delivering for and supporting VCA hospitals in their searches for Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants. Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience. A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the veterinary industry. 3 years of prior supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of Veterinary Technicians & Veterinary Assistant roles and responsibilities. The position can be remote or based on-site at the Los Angeles campus. Travel 25%-75% Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Advanced knowledge of Applicant Tracking systems (Workday preferred) and CRM software (SmashFly preferred). Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, other departments and senior management. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of the department and to various changes in priorities. Knowledge of social media recruiting methods and tools. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
