We are looking for someone to play a leadership role in transforming the Tax function with technology. This leader will anticipate and innovate technology needs of Tax to support the business and the rapidly changing external tax regulatory landscape. This role requires a strong collaborator to partner with our finance technology and engineering teams to be a thought leader and the voice of Tax in the assessment of current and future systems. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who has a hands-on approach and is experienced in mentoring and developing a team of stunning colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the company's overall technology and financial systems. Identify efficiencies and improvements that can be made using existing and new technological capabilities, especially around tax reporting and operations. Partner with the tax team to define the technology strategy and identify innovative solutions to execute the strategy. This includes helping the tax team with building data pipelines for reporting and financial system analysis to get the most out of our financial systems. Collaborate with the partner technology teams in the assessment of data/platform reporting and financial system analysis and advocate tax's viewpoint in the assessment of technology solutions Work with key product, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure tax requirements are communicated, understood, and implemented Lead tax team efficiency excellence by either implementing technological solutions or advise on process reengineering Anticipate possible changes in the and external environment and assess whether the technology solutions and the team are adequately prepared to address the future needs Further develop and grow a team of tax technology professionals Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:

years of relevant experience in consulting and/or tax department in tax technology and tax process/operations across direct and indirect tax Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Masters degree preferred Experience with tax-specific robotic solutions, such as Alteryx, Tableau etc. strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build consensus among multiple stakeholders Strong people leadership skills and experience in leading a team Experience in data management with a strong data mindset and with programming language a plus
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
TaxEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
