Executive Recruiter

The ExecutiveRecruiter provides full cycle recruiting support for senior management/executive roles across the university. This role is responsible for cultivating strong professional relationships with hiring managers,university leaders, and internal and external executive talent, tailoring services to the executive role in order to hire the best available talent.This role develops executive-level reports to track and communicate progress on recruiting efforts, keeping senior leaders and hiring managers up to date on hiring progress. This role will help enable USC's vision while championing USC's culture and values. Minimum Qualifications The candidate for the position of ExecutiveRecruitermust meet the following
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, human resources, communications or related field. Seven or more years of experience in one or more of the following fields:
human resources, talent acquisition, sourcing, recruiting. Demonstrated ability to source and qualify executive level roles. Working knowledge of labor markets, executive recruiting and sourcing practices and effective social media recruitment tools. Experience working with executive search firms. Experience effectively engagingexecutive talent and quickly developing crediblerelationships. Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, driving strategy, and prioritization of roles. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of state, federal and local policies and procedures relating to talent acquisition and university. Exceptional collaboration skills, ability to conduct talent needs assessmentand understand the needs of senior leader hiring managers. Excellent ability to contribute to concurrent projects, prioritize competing assignments, and manage workload effectively. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively. Team-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively. Strong ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and frequent interruptions. Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information. CIPD, CPLP, CPTD, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR. Job Responsibilities The candidate for the position of ExecutiveRecruiterwill be responsible for:
Conducting full-life cycle executive recruiting services, including resume review, phone screening, and interview coordination for a wide range of senior management/executive roles across the university. Serving as an experienced talent acquisition consultant to a variety of senior talent leaders and hiring managers. Establishing ongoing, strong relationships with hiring managers and senior university leaders to better understand the immediate and long-term strategy for the unit, as well as the requirements for open executive positions and desired candidates. Managing the priority of the executive recruiting pipeline effectively. Making recommendations on sourcing approaches to tap into targeted talent and leveraging third-party services, such as executive search firms, as needed. Providing effective customer service and follow-through in a high-volume work environment, including listening to talent and candidate customer needs, responding appropriately in a timely manner. Collecting feedback from hiring managers and candidates to continuously improve the recruiting experience for all customers. Tracking, maintaining, and reporting on recruiting metrics and identifying and applying opportunities to improve the executive sourcing and recruitment process. Communicating progress on the executive recruiting lifecycle frequently and proactively to managers and hiring managers. Leveraging in depth knowledge of the executive recruiting process to set reasonable expectations for candidates, hiring managers, etc. to fill a role. Demonstrating empathy to candidates and championing the university's brand to enthusiastically recruit top talent. Developing and maintaining partnerships with external executive recruitment vendors to build a robust, on-going pipeline of senior management and executive level talent pools. Actively seeking opportunities to continuously improve the executive recruiting lifecycle (including technology and processes). Pivoting swiftly and in an organized fashion based on changing resource needs and executive level talent priorities. Quickly adopting leading practices in talent acquisition, including staying up to date with in-demand positions and nuances of senior management and executive level roles. Demonstrating a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks. Leveraging recruiting metrics, such as candidate diversity, time to hire, etc. throughout all requisitions. Using insights from recruiting reports and analytics to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvements. Advising hiring managers on candidate selection based on objective interactions and experiences with successful hires and with a strong knowledge of the requirements for the role and broader talent strategy for the unit. Creating and implementing long-term strategic recruiting plans to improve and diversify the overall talent pool of the university. Collaborating with peers in the department to demonstrate the culture and values of the university and the HR organization to all applicants, candidates, and hiring managers. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
