Academic Program Manager

The Keck School of Medicine, Office for Curriculum is seeking an energetic, team-oriented, experienced leader to serve as Director of the Office for Curriculum. Candidates must have a collaborative working style, and the ability to multitask is a necessity. The Director for the Office of Curriculum is responsible for overseeing all office staff in the delivery of the Physician - Citizen - Scholar curriculum to over 750 medical students. The Director is charged with balancing workload and maintaining the appropriate staffing for the office. The Director must work to meet the curriculum-related needs of faculty, students, and staff while maintaining the integrity of the office and working within a defined budget. Key job responsibilities include:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of curricular implementation, including maintenance of learning management systems, attendance, curricular schedules and course materials, and development of academic calendars Manage and supervise Curriculum Office Staff. Provide back-up, cross-coverage, and/or support to Curriculum Coordinators and curricular events as needed. Identify process improvements and contribute to development of standard operating procedures and processes for curricular implementation Facilitate timely communication with course faculty and students as needed Attend Curriculum Committee Meetings Develop and Manage Curriculum Office Budget Develop and maintain Curriculum Office performance metrics Liaise with Medical Education regarding program evaluation and student learning resources Meet with faculty, students and staff regarding Curriculum Office issues and needs as requested Oversee scheduling of the primary lecture halls for student instruction Monitors and supports curriculum reports, including curriculum inventory and quality improvement/accreditation Special projects as assigned. Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum
Experience:

Experience managing learning programs for adults. Demonstrated experience in management/leadership roles, building and maintaining relationships with domestic and international stakeholders. Proven budget oversight and planning experience. Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with exemplary attention to detail. Experience in higher education and/or customer service. Proven ability to plan, implement, and coordinate program logistics. Demonstrated database/data entry experience. Proven project management and problem solving skills, able to handle multiple timelines, changing priorities, and fluctuating workloads.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
