CohnReznick's National Tax Practice assists clients by providing value added tax planning to businesses of all sizes and in all industries. As a member of the National Tax team, you will be providing technical support to Tax team members across the country. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assist other Tax team members and clients in identifying tax accounting methods opportunities and risk areas by reviewing client financial and tax return information Researching and writing memoranda to answer complex tax accounting methods issues Reviewing client financial and tax return information to identify tax accounting methods opportunities Preparing automatic and non-automatic Forms 3115 and Forms 1128 Performing 263A (UNICAP) and LIFO calculations as needed Building rapport with professionals in all industries and service lines across the Firm Contributing as tax technical resource by providing internal and external technical trainings in support of the Firm's growth and marketing efforts Contributing as tax technical expert by keeping abreast of changes in the tax accounting methods area Basic Qualifications Proven track record of practice building and project management with a strong understanding and the experience or ability to effectively identify, sell and deliver tax services to middle-market business clients Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university CPA or JD required 5 or more years of experience in public accounting Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information Ability to travel to client sites, which may include overnight accommodations - up to 10% of time Ability to work effectively on a team Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Masters in Taxation or LLM(Tax) 3-4 years of specific experience working with tax accounting methods and inventory Experience managing and/or performing multiple projects simultaneously
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, TaxEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
