Now is an exciting time to join a talented, energetic team that is helping to shape operational data standards and practices for a growing studio. We are looking for a Data Lead, Vendor to join the Studio Data Management team within Studio Product Innovation (SPI). SPI creates applications that drive innovation in content creation. Our team manages several large operational data sets that are used broadly across these applications. We work closely with product teams to ensure that the data is bringing value to their products while also working to improve underlying data quality through better processes, tools, guidelines and user education. In this role, you will focus on the Vendor ID dataset, which includes all vendors that are engaged by Netflix Studios and its productions. Maintaining properly structured Vendor IDs that conform to a set of complex business requirements is critical to driving a variety of functions for studio teams in Content, Production, Business and Legal and beyond. You will be responsible for near and long-term planning related to the quality of the Vendor dataset, focusing on scalability and efficiency. You will work with product squads to manage projects related to product development while also guiding improvements to foundational data health. You will also manage a small team of full-time and contract employees. A successful candidate will love digging into large data sets to find patterns and diagnose problems, have the agility to pivot between heads-down project execution and user-focused problem-solving, and be excited by the opportunity to be part of an evolving team. Responsibilities Provide near-term and long-term thinking for Vendor data needs across the studio, including data quality and data education. Lead execution of the data road map initiatives. Act as the primary data entity subject-matter expert broadly across the studio, consulting with product management, engineers, designers and stakeholders on projects related to Vendor data. Work with product management, DSE and other partners to create and report metrics that provide visibility into various dimensions of Vendor data quality. Independently define and implement strategy to scale data quality work efficiently, which may include prioritization frameworks, devising smarter ways to tier data, contracting with external vendors and/or developing a Distributed Data Management Program with studio teams. Lead data tools stakeholder requirements in collaboration with team manager. Lead data quality projects to support product development and to improve foundational data quality, creating detailed plans that identify business impact, timelines and risks Hire and manage contractors as needed to support product priorities. Manage stakeholder requests and drive stakeholder alignment when needed Guide the creation of a repository of best practices and instructional documentation Qualifications 4
years experience working with databases and/or content management systems Strong ability to communicate with empathy and clarity to technical and non-technical audiences Excellent time-management and project management skills and the ability to manage timelines for multiple projects Excellent ability to anticipate capacity of the team to meet changing project timelines and priorities Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesize information across a broad ecosystem to diagnose problems and devise solutions Strong understanding of workflow and ability to recognize inefficiencies Knowledge of data lifecycle and data governance concepts Flexible in an evolving environment General understanding of the pitch-to-play lifecycle of content and the types of companies who provide services throughout the process Proficiency with Google Suite and table-based applications (e.g. Excel, Airtable) Additive Skills Experience managing teams Experience in a physical production or post-production environment, studio, production company, Below-The-Line agency, or motion picture industry organization.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
