Programmmer Analyst III - Engemman Student Health

Develops application design specifications based on analysis/assessment of user needs. Develops, tests, and installs new software applications, and enhances functionality of existing applications. Performs work of moderate complexity, handling most activities individually or under general supervision of senior programming staff. Evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines or solve specific problems. The Programmer Analyst III reports to the MIS Director, Student Health and works closely with the Senior Programmer and the rest of the Informatics Team within Student Health. The scope of this position includes application programming and maintenance, SQL reporting, EHR (Point and Click Solutions Electronic Health Record) integration, interface and enhancement projects, and backing up both the Senior Programmer and the Clinical Systems Administrator as needed. This is an ideal position for a self-starter who has strong skills, works well within a small team, communicates well with peers and users, and thrives with variety in their workload. - Strong skills in MS SQL Server application development and reporting in a Windows environment - Working knowledge of SSIS, C#, and PowerShell development - Working knowledge of Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and Git Strongly preferred:
- Experience with healthcare operational and clinical data - Experience with an electronic health record system (Point and Click Solutions, Medicat, Epic, Cerner, etc.) - Familiarity with HL7 interfaces in a healthcare environment
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
