Minimum Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field.
4 or more years of experience BIM/VDC coordinator or relevant experience.
Experience utilizing BIM for 4D and project coordination/clash detection.
Experience working with Design and Construction teams Preferred Qualifications ? Requires well-rounded experience working with Design and Construction teams ? Experience working with Engineers, Architects and Contractors ? Experience working on projects from Design through Construction ? Working knowledge to perform modeling and coordination tasks within Revit/NavisWorks/AutoCAD/BIM360 ? Experience with LiDAR and Photogrammetry ? Experience managing submittals and RFIs ? Experience AutoDesk Forge and Python ? Positive attitude and works well with teams Position Description:
The BIM/VDC Coordinator for Build-LACCD is responsible for:
? Monitoring and reconciling the Design and Construction Team's submittal data related to BIM Reviewing VDC/BIM scope of work for contractual compliance ? BIM Submittal tracking o Review submittals to ensure compliance with BuildLACCD standards and BIM scope of services.
o BIM submittal coordination between college project teams and design/construction teams.
o BIM 360 Model reviews/work flowing/administration ?Communication o Attend virtual coordination meetings/kick offs o Direct communication via phone and emails with college project teams weekly o Reporting and tracking to PMO weekly o Direct communication with CPT, Design and Construction teams.
? BIM Closeout o Provide support to CPT/PMO to ensure BIM projects meet BuildLACCD standards o Review CAD/BIM As-Built drawings for compliance and completeness o Review FM BIM data for compliance and completeness ? BIM Standards o Participate in the continuous development of the BuildLACCD BIM standards o Collaborate with LACC District teams to ensure FM data needs are met for CMMS use o Work with PMO and CPT teams to develop BIM scope of services based on project needs ? SharePoint record drawings database Support for BuildLACCD and LACCD o Research data as requested by District and PMO ? GIS o Provide support as requested for the ESRI ArcGIS and ArcGIS online platforms o Review GIS deliverables and BIM to ArcGIS online integration ? Travel o Visit colleges as requested.
Interface with college project teams ? LIDAR o Provide scanning of current projects for QAQC review o Manage database of LIDAR scans o Link LIDAR scans to coordination and design models ? Models o Provide supplemental modeling as requested by the CPT and PMO o Manage database of BuildLACCD BIM models ? Schedules o Review project schedules to identify milestones and provide feedback regarding BIM Job Type:
