Interior Design Business Development Associate and Shop Manager
Quick Apply Full-time 15 hours ago Full Job Description Obra Design Studio is hiring a full-time Business Development Associate & Shop Manager to develop and implement creative retail strategies in our new brick and mortar showroom-- an extension of our design studio where services include interior design for residential, high-profile projects.
This candidate will have a passion for art and design as well as great eye for style and a creative mind for an exciting multidisciplinary environment.
This role requires strong inventory skills, great interpersonal skills, and a self-starting work ethic.
RESPONSIBILITIES / Cross-pollinate, develop and implement retail strategies with our existing interior-architectural design business / Set and create cross-brand social media strategies with senior team / Manage showroom sales and event details?/ Create and schedule social media posts for Obra Design Studio (Silver Lake, LA) and new Obra Barn (Highland Park, LA) / Acquire proficiency and train staff on the company's order entry and inventory management system / Establish and maintain customer, vendor and partner relationships in close cooperation with our interior design team / Coordinate logistics for purchase, delivery, storage and installation of inventory / Oversee physical inventory and maintain online inventory / Track invoices and payments in Design Manager and report to our accounting team / Document showroom workflows and create process procedures / Plan and coordinate exhibitions, special events and rotating displays with the senior team / Create photo and video content of inventory and liaise with photographers on file delivery and organization REQUIREMENTS / Strong skills in iWork/Microsoft suite and Adobe Creative Cloud / Proficiency in Studio Designer or similar interior design database / Ability to generate content ideas and implementation / Proactive self-starter, highly detail oriented and strong problem solving skills / Excellent verbal and written communication skills / High level of execution and delivery / Personality that thrives in a close-knit team environment; excellent interpersonal skills and customer service sensibilities / Exceptional level of attention to detail and mastery of organizational and time management skills / Proficient in instagram, stories, reels and IGTV / Knowledge of Tik Tok a plus / Minimum of 2 year experience in marketing /social media/retail and/or PR / Undergraduate Degree in design related field, communication or graphic design / References required, proof of results a plus Job Type:
