Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles, CA Part-time Part-time 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago The UCLA Depression Grand Challenge seeks to hire a temporary team of video editors for support of clinical research activities.
We seek people with editing experience who are willing to work 50% or more for summer or through December 2023/January 2024.
Work may be performed remotely.
The primary responsibility of video editors is to review a large volume of recordings from clinical interviews and research assessments, and to use video editing software to remove any identifying information from those videos which will then be transmitted to the study sponsor.
All activity must be documented in a research database and the incumbent is required to adhere to data security protocols.
Video quality issues must be additionally documented.
Note that this is a limited appointment; individuals will be hired for fewer than 1,000 hours in a period of 12 consecutive months.

variable Qualifications for Position 7 Records Qualifications Required/Preferred Previous experience and proficiency editing film working on an independent basis.
Required Ability to diligently and responsibly follow established protocol to ensure data security standards are met.
Required Self-starter and internally motivated with discipline to complete tasks on schedule while working independently.
Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred Strong computer skills, including word processing, e-mail systems, file transfer, and data entry, including the ability to download software to support file encryption and secure file transfer as part of the video scrubbing protocol Required Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Required Exceptional attention to detail.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
