We are looking for someone to assist the Case Manager.
The Assistant must be highly organized, possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent attention to detail, and solid communication skills.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1.
Schedule Clients for Medical Appointments for treatment once we have been retained as counsel to represent client in their injury claim.
2.
Request Medical Records and Bills and obtain any related past medical records including but not limited to the client's medical records from the primary physician.
3.
Review Legal Subpoenas to obtain Medical Records to submit for settlement purposes as well as submitting the medical records to be summarized.
4.
Contact Medical Providers to Confirm Medical billing amounts.
5.
Conduct Follow up calls with client re Medical Treatment and Injury Status, 6.
Data entry into our Case Management Program Filevine.
7.
Communicate with Medi-Cal and Medicare regarding Statutory Medical Liens.
8.
Assist with preparing Settlement Demands and Preparing claims for Mediation.
9.
Assist and manage the case during the litigation/lawsuit/trial phase by continuing management and treatment of the client's medical treatment, assisting with providing information to respond to written discovery, obtain medical records via subpoena, assist in preparation of exhibit lists, witness list, as well as coordinating and managing scheduling of testimony for trial of the medical experts.
