is looking for EXPERIENCED, mechanically-inclined people to set up, operate and troubleshoot filling and packaging machines and other equipment associated with coffee production.
We are also looking for flavoring technicians to learn how to produce ground and whole bean coffee according to specific recipe specifications.

We have two shifts available:
First Shift is 7am to 3:
45pm, Mon-Fri; Second Shift is 3:
20pm to 2:
05am Mon-Thurs.

What we need you to do:
Read specifications, instructions, work orders and other technical production data in order to complete daily tasks and determine quantities and types of products to be produced.
Ensure that ingredients and production settings are accurate according to the coffee being produced.
Perform operator adjustments, observe settings, gauges, samples and printing, and adjust controls such as thermostat, timing cells, printer, and valves as needed in order to maintain prescribed operating conditions for specific products.
Spot check products (k-cups, capsules, portion packs, cans) as they move through the line to ensure all UPC codes, dates and other packaging set up and details are correct.
Maintain production records, including production data, such as weight and amount of product processed, down time, type of product, and time of processing.
Complete additional tasks as required or assigned.
Understand and follow policies and procedures strictly as described in the Good Manufacturing Practices Policies and SQF Codes What we need you to have:
Two (2) or more years of experience in Food Processing preferred with knowledge of equipment for safely processing food products for consumption.
Ability to work with computers to enter data and read specs and work-related safety communications.
Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials and techniques common to packaging machines, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Important Physical Requirements:
Requires standing, climbing, bending, and lifting for long periods of time; between 8 to 12 hours or more Ability to safely lift packaged products and raw materials with and without assistance (average of 50lbs for heavy lifters and 32lbs for light lifters).
Hands and fingers with dexterity to work with product, equipment parts and controls and ability to listen for malfunctions, alarms, and other production-related sounds.
Must be able to work with varying degrees of noise indoors and in environmentally variable conditions, including exposure to coffee particulates.
