Requirements Minimum 2 years personal injury negotiations experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Full-time in person position The Lien Negotiator will work directly with and support the Personal Injury department attorneys and support staff, as well as other departments (i.
e.
, Accounting, Administration, etc.
).
Their primary function will be to negotiate pre and post-settlement liens, including health insurance liens, hospital/ER/EMS liens, private medical provider liens, and state and federal medical provider liens.
Responsibilities:
Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills.
Negotiate Medpay reimbursement claims/waivers as well as sub-out attorney liens Draft Lien Reduction acceptance letters Identify liens from:
emergency medical treatment.
Correspond with clients and creditors over the phone and through email Preform other office tasks as assigned by management Proactively pursue settlement strategies Resolve any issues that come up before/during the settlement Formulate costs incurred on cases Type of Position:
