We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Union Help Desk Specialist, who will work closely with departments, internal stakeholders, and other leaders in support of business needs and meeting service alignment agreements.
The right candidate will have a sense of urgency, the ability to improve operational efficiency through thoughtful process improvement, and a strong commitment to delivering best in class service.
What You Will Do:
The core responsibility is the operation of the computer system and for assisting and conducting PC and network support operations.
Will build, maintain, and install computer equipment to ensure a smooth operating environment.
Monitors the operation of the computer system and resolves problems or reports malfunctions to service representatives.
Acts as a champion for change within the department, offering new ideas and continuously developing knowledge and processes to improve the customer experience and team member engagement.
Responsible for writing service tech instructions for computer production and test runs.
Will maintain computer hardware and inventories of computer supplies.
Support numerous projects simultaneously, work across the organization while driving the necessary activities to solve member issues.
Recognizes and applies subtle cues in anticipating member needs and potential next steps.
Ability to work with ticketing or case management software and RMA processes.
Resolve difficult or complicated situations that are often sensitive in nature.
Identify, monitor, and articulate reporting requirements that include targets, specific data, anticipated outcomes, and other key performance indicators.
Identify, recommend, and support the implementation of various programs for the improvement of contact center processes through support of quality and training efforts.
Maintain good relations with Premier America's user community while demonstrating a high level of professional, courteous service with strong follow-up and a commitment to problem resolution.
Maintain good relations with vendors, particularly Symitar & Dell personnel.
Assist with budgetary preparation and data gathering for the budget process when requested.
Provide periodic updates or status reports to the Director or System & Technology Management when requested.
Assist with the evaluation of existing, new jobs, or changes jobs or procedures on workload when requested.
Will establish and maintain effective and professional business relations with internal and external stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For:
Associate degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related technical field 3-5 years of active MCSA (Windows 11), A+(CompTIA), ITIL Foundation - required 3-5 years of similar or related experience in a Help Desk environment - Credit Union experience preferred Advanced knowledge (5
years) of Microsoft environment (Windows, Windows server, Office 365, Active Directory) - required Advanced understanding of security and network technologies (firewall, VPN, web filter, spam filter, etc.
) - required Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize effectively, working in a fast-paced environment Strong oral and written communication skills Must be able to support our credit union on-site Must be able to support our credit union when needed (including weekends when required) Premier America Credit Union will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring (Ban the Box) Ordinance.
