The Opportunity Description We're looking for a MAT Therapist, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Los Angeles, California, 90022, United States.
Carries out mission, vision and values established by the President/CEO and Board of Directors.
Conducts home-based and/or on site assessments and provides linkages to services.
Drives and provides services to a large geographic area which includes the greater Los Angeles and other surrounding counties.
Maintains timely and detailed clinical records of all client interactions, and other required documentation, which conforms to standards of best practice, Department of Mental Health guidelines and company Policies and Procedures.
Collaborates with DMH, DCFS, Foster Family Agencies, schools and collaterals.
Attends trainings and departmental meetings as required including group and individual supervision.
Completes summary of Findings (SOF) document and present at the CFT- MAT meeting.
Provides consultation support, or mental health services to clients and families until case is closed and discharged.
Responds to crises as needed.
Communicates relevant information with multidisciplinary team and participate as a part of that team.
Maintains appropriate registration/licensure with the State of California Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) or Board of Psychology (BOP), including completion of state required continuing education credits, hours of supervision, and other procedures required by the relevant board.
Performs other duties as deemed necessary for fulfillment of program requirement and preforms other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience Required for Your Success MSW OR MA Degree 1- 2 years experience required Registered with BBS Experience working a community-based, mental health setting DMH Experience required Experience with diverse families, children with trauma history and Child Protective Systems Must have a reliable automobile for use on the job (mileage to be reimbursed) Valid California Driver License Must have and maintained State required automobile coverage throughout employment Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment TB clearance to be renewed every two years Post-employment physical and drug screen clearance prior to start of employment What Do You Think?Does your experience reflect what it takes to be successful in this role?
