International Recruitment & Partnerships Specialist (Remote)

Under the direction of the Director, the International Recruitment and Partnerships (IRP) Specialist is responsible for supporting the International Relations and Partnerships Director and Office in maintaining, expanding, and advancing the network of relationships with national and international businesses and higher educational institutions and agencies that are interested in partnering with UCLA and UCLA Extension (UNEX).
This position is responsible for cultivating and managing new and existing partnerships with businesses, multinational corporations, governments, universities, and other entities to recruit international students for UCLA Extension International Programs.
The Specialist is responsible for assisting the Director on the development of contracts; execution of UNEX recruitment plans; a collection of data for reports, proposals, and market analysis; development and maintenance of collateral and materials for agency training, recruitment presentations, and partnership communique; coordinating with IP, UNEX and campus units on the delivery and support of programs and students (Study Abroad, Certificates, and Custom Programming as needed ) with the purpose of furthering collaborations and support across units to meet the client's needs and provide high-quality programming.
The incumbent is also responsible for liaising between IRP and International Corporate and Custom Programs Department (ICCP) to develop cross-unit contracts and refer and respond to new programming and/or partnership opportunities.
This position is also responsible for identifying solutions for client issues, assisting in the preparation of and processing of contracts, managing commission payments and discounts extended to partners (institutional and agents), and coordinating international recruitment travel (events, fairs, and attendance).

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills sufficient to speak with and write to persons of various social, cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds to develop effective working relationships, assess and resolve problems.

Demonstrated computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, Google Suite, Windows operating systems.

Ability to accept emergent and complex circumstances and to identify solutions to resolve the problem when the situation may be ambiguous or not readily apparent.
Required 9.
Mathematical skills sufficient to calculate budgetary figures, using computations such as ratios, percentages, and margins.

Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and high service standards.

Knowledge of Bruinbuy and UCLA accounts payable and receivables procedures.
Can be trained 12.
Experience in event management, including logistics and arrangements for schedules, venue reservations, delivery of audio-visual and other equipment, catering, and attention to a wide variety of details.

Familiarity with marketing and public relations strategies; including but not limited to print, social media marketing, and digital.
Preferred 14.
Conversational or fluency in a foreign language.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
