The Merchandise Allocator will be tasked with facilitating the allocation and replenishment of a specific product category of Forever 21 merchandise to all stores, using standard processes to maintain optimum stock levels at the distribution center and the retail stores.
Responsibilities:
Execute merchandise allocations incorporating seasonal strategies, weekly allocation/shipment targets, analysis of sales and market trends, store inventory levels, demographics, store capacity, sell-through rates, buying quantities, and product content Utilize understanding of standard assortment strategies and nuances of supply chains to resolve store and distribution center inquiries regarding allocation and inventory Collaborate with Merchandise Planners and Buying groups to identify growth opportunities and minimize down-trending business.
This includes identifying the best assortment of merchandise for stores, based on past sales performances, emerging trends, and store needs Generate sales-to-stock reports to monitor store inventory levels to ensure ideal stock levels are consistently maintained to meet customer demand Determine category unit and replenishment plans for a designated set of Forever 21 brands, based on each store's historical performance and projected trend
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, or any related discipline strongly preferred Must have 2
years of relevant work experience in allocation or inventory analysis, preferably in the retail industry Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required, including v-lookups and pivot tables:
Must be comfortable handling and manipulating large data sets Must be highly attentive to detail due to the nature of the job being predominately numbers based Must have an adequate analytical acumen and skill set, including the ability to recognize trends and patterns within a large and complex data set Forever21 currently observes the following hybrid work model for employees at our HQ in DTLA Los Angeles:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
