Summary:
Operating out of the Business Improvement District (BID) service center, the Contact Manager (CM) will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Works Program's Street Maintenance contract with the BID.
The CM is responsible for overseeing and managing the employees, processes, daily activity, and customer relationship under the guidance of a Works Senior Operations Manager.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Daily liaison with District management to ensure the customer's needs are met according to contractual obligations and with the highest level of customer service Manage a crew of:
supervisors, drivers, machine operators, pressure washers, and sweepers in all performance-related areas while working in line with Chrysalis' mission, including, but not limited to, completing periodic and annual performance reviews Oversee strategic deployment of crew given knowledge of district, customer requests and contractual obligations Ensure that all safe work practices and procedures are in place and followed by all crew members Conduct briefings and trainings on job duties, proper equipment use, safety, and other pertinent areas Create, maintain, and manage worker schedules and daily responsibilities (e.
g.
, routes) Effectively manage equipment, supplies, vehicles, and other inventory Validate and approve worker timesheets and timecards for payroll purposes Complete paperwork & assigned monthly reports (evaluations, write-ups, bag counts, etc.
) by the designated deadline Help develop and lead training (safety, skills, techniques, etc.
) activities for employees Attend monthly trainings and other trainings as assigned Work closely with the internal operations team to communicate all contract critical information and keep up to date on current issues Provide operational support to crew as necessary, such as emptying and replacing liners in trash receptacles, removing graffiti and stickers, reporting bulk items, sweeping and/or blowing leaves and other debris on sidewalks and gutters, basic landscaping (e.
g.
, pulling weeds, trimming shrubbery), and maintaining equipment Support the Chrysalis Mission and adhere to the Chrysalis Code of Ethics Other duties as assigned Skills and
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to communicate with customers, employees, stakeholders, business owners, property owners, residents, pedestrians with tact and diplomacy Successful work experience training and managing Chrysalis Enterprises crews Excellent organization and time management skills Demonstrated high levels of quality assurance and professionalism Ability to balance time spent between obligations at the service center and in the field Have a valid Class C California driver license and the ability to qualify for Chrysalis Enterprises insurance coverage Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, and some technical experience using a tablet or laptop Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
