Program ManagerThe Alcott Center for Mental Health Services, a nonprofit community mental health agency is seeking an organized, motivated, and professional candidate for a full-time position providing substance use services.
The population served are male and female adults being released from Los Angeles Correctional Facilities, having served time for quality-of-life crimes, with a full spectrum of DSM diagnoses, including substance misuse, who reside in our bridge-housing facilities.
The individual will provide treatment planning, linkage, crisis, rehabilitation, and group education services as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Facilitate Assessment, Individual, and Group Treatments and provide ongoing assessment of client progress in attaining goals.
Provide all the above in person and virtually when needed.
Provide evidence-based practices utilizing a harm reduction model when working with clients.
Provide ongoing therapy services that will decrease social isolation and prevent relapse risks; provide linkage and brokerage to any mental health, substance abuse, and meaningful community activities.
Provide crisis management, and other related substance abuse/mental health services to clients on the streets, in service venues, in housing placements, or other locations as appropriate.
Respond to urgent requests for assistance from clients as needed.
Participate in all meetings with collaborative agencies and other community meetings as directed.
Conducts 1:
1 consistent with harm reduction principles to facilitate patient awareness, understanding, and motivation to change related to addiction and recovery issues, as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a focus related to Mental Health (MSW, MFT, etc.
) Local travel between agency sites is required.
Evidence of clear criminal record and proof of valid California Driver's License Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including booster.
$31 - $32 an hour

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
