Division Sales Manager - CA/HI

Position PurposeActing on own initiative, the Division Sales Manager is responsible for the sales activity within assigned division of the National Sales organization.
This position drives division sales, market share penetration, and profitability for all channels through leadership and direction of our sales team and distributor management.

encourages strong work ethic and fosters an environment of trust and respecto Develops and aligns individual goals with the departments operational goals; ensures that decisions, actions, and priorities are aligned with the companys vision, mission, and strategieso Researches best practices, stays abreast of industry trends, and maintains awareness of regulatory changes to ensure compliance and continually improve operationso Assists in preparing the departmental budget, monitors spending, and directs team in cost-effective operations to ensure adherence to financial objectiveso Monitors performance and regularly communicates with direct reports to achieve mutual understanding and desired resultso Partners with immediate manager to determine staffing needs; attracts, motivates, and retains a workforce with the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve goals and objectiveso Provides employees with a safe, healthy, and rewarding work environment; fully engages in the GPS (Performance Management) process; provides high-quality feedback, and ensures proper GPS documentation of employee performance, recognition, and deficienciesEssential Dutieso Demonstrates principled leadership and sound business ethics, shows consistency among principles, values, and behavior, builds trust with others through own authenticity and follow-through on commitments, drives results and success, conveys a sense of urgencyo Coaches and mentors Region Sales Managers to build effective teams that enable them to respond quickly to emerging customer opportunities and provide for seamless execution of the companys business processes in an effort to exceed customer expectationso Defines levels of accountability and effectiveness for current and future performance of dedicated sales team, assigns responsibilities, delegates to and empower others, removes obstacles, allows for and provides needed resources, coordinates work efforts when necessary, monitors progresso Contributes to the organizations profitability, ensures division volume and profit goals are achieved while remaining within established budgets, makes decisions that enhance the organizations financial position, establishes budgets, uses financial and quantitative information effectively to manage P & amp;L statements, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and deal structureso Cultivates and maintains effective business relationships with wholesaler upper management and top trade partnerso Identifies critical, high payoff strategies and prioritize team efforts accordingly, uses information about the market and competitors in making decisions, recognizes strategic opportunities for success, adjusts actions and decisions for focus on critical strategic issueso Collaborates with HR Business Partner to develop high performing sales team, staffing strategies, recruiting, performance management, career development, coaching, training, and employee relationso Submits required reports and expenses in a timely manner, meets all prescribed deadlineso Performs all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the assigned account baseo Responsible for managing activities in compliance with state and federal laws and regulationsOther duties may be assignedNon-Essential DutiesOther duties may be assignedMinimum RequirementsEducation and Experienceo Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field requiredo 7-10 years of combined wine supplier (preferably top 20 wine company) and/or wholesaler management experience selling wine, building brands, and conducting customer callso 5-7 years of experience managing direct reports and wholesalersKnowledge, Skills, and Abilitieso Demonstrated leadership and successful track record of achieving resultso Market and wholesaler knowledge; excellent communication, presentation, customer service, organizational, and negotiation skillso Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategyo Read and evaluate sales and marketing reports, analysis, and trendso Detail oriented and results driveno Intermediate to advanced skillset with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)o Ability to navigate the Internet/Intranet and use Syndicated Data for effective business developmento Must possess in-depth working knowledge of wine and the wine industryCertificates and Licenseso Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and vehicle required with an acceptable driving recordWorking Conditionso Requires ability to travel frequently and flexibility in schedule to work evenings and weekends as neededo This Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Branding Business Administration Business Development Business Ethics Business Processes Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
