About the Team TikTok is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fraud Rule Analyst with expertise in using CyberSource or other fraud rule engine software to join our growing team.
As a Fraud Rule Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our platform and users from fraudulent activities.
You will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and implementing fraud prevention rules and strategies to detect and mitigate potential risks.
Responsibilities:
Fraud Rule Analysis:
Evaluate and analyze fraud patterns, trends, and data to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop effective fraud detection and prevention rules.
Rule Optimization:
Continuously review and optimize existing fraud rules and strategies to enhance accuracy and effectiveness, while minimizing false positives and negatives.
Rule Implementation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to translate fraud prevention strategies into actionable rules within CyberSource or other fraud rule engine software.
Monitoring and Analysis:
Monitor fraud-related data, metrics, and alerts to identify emerging patterns, new threats, or changes in fraud activity, and take proactive measures to counteract potential risks.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular reports on fraud detection and prevention performance, including key metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with the latest fraud detection and prevention techniques, tools, and industry best practices to proactively identify and mitigate evolving fraud risks.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as risk management, compliance, and customer support teams, to gather insights, share knowledge, and ensure a holistic approach to fraud prevention.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Fraud Analyst, Fraud Rule Analyst, or similar role, with a proven track record of implementing fraud rules using CyberSource or other fraud rule engine software.
Expertise:
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with fraud detection and prevention strategies, techniques, and tools, with a focus on using CyberSource or similar fraud rule engine software.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and develop effective fraud detection and prevention rules.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in SQL and data analysis tools.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in rule implementation and data analysis.
Team Player:
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Adaptability:
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, quickly adapt to changes, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Job Information The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $95000 - $200555 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
