Basic Function Under direct supervision, operates public transit buses, transports passengers, provides customer service, and performs safety inspections of bus equipment to assure their safe, efficient, and on-time operation.
Metro is a 24-hour / 7 day a week operation.
You may be assigned to any Metro Operating Division within LA County and may be assigned to any shift.
Great Hourly Pay! Effective July 1, start rate will be $24.
26 per hour, plus room to grow (top rate for part-time is $35.
45/hour after 5
years)

Must be 21
years of age Good driving record (DMV K-4 printout) Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English at intermediate level Valid California Class C driver's license Possess a valid US driver's license for at least two (2) years What to expect if you are a qualified candidate:
Interviews, candidate test in English Metro training in English, with option for bilingual/Spanish support and course materials Metro final test and final DMV test in English.
DMV practice tests are available in Spanish.
