org Responsibilities Reporting to the Site Director, with a dotted line to the Senior Site Director, a Site Counselor is responsible for the safety and success of the students who participate in the Team Prime Time ASP.
Positions in this class are part-time and generally operate on-site on weekday afternoons from 2:
00PM - 6:
00, unless there is early dismissal.
The person:
1.
Supervises, organizes, schedules, promotes, conducts and participates in enrichment and/or recreation activities for all age groups at an out-of-school program school site.
This includes virtual programming.
2.
Is the primary person responsible for implementing aspects of the curriculum for which they were specifically hired to conduct.
3.
Completes all training so they understand what is expected of them and are successful.
4.
Submits Activity Plans in accordance with TPT guidelines.
5.
Complies with all payroll, HR and performance guidelines set forth by TPT.
6.
Communicates with stakeholders - TPT management and staff, School Administration, Teachers, Parents, Collaborators and Students, as assigned by the Site Director.
7.
Communicates problems & issues to their Site Director, Sr.
Site Director and/or Program Director verbally and in writing by way of incident reports.
8.
Attends site staff meetings as assigned.
9.
Assists Site Director in Maintaining order in all school site facilities and ensures that District regulations are being observed.
10.
Maintains the quality of and supervises the use of enrichment and recreation supplies and equipment.
Informs Site Director if and when new supplies are needed.
11.
Inspects grounds and equipment for safety and proper operation, and assures safe and appropriate use.
12.
Performs related duties as assigned.
13.
Observe and make recommendations for how to improve TPT ASP.
Qualifications Knowledge of a.
Initiating, teaching, and conducting enrichment and recreational activities such as art, handicrafts or language.
Especially as it pertains to content for which they were hired (i.
e.
art or language) b.
Safety rules and regulations pertaining to enrichment and recreation equipment and supplies.
c.
Working with peers to partner with them and/or give guidance.
2.
Ability to a.
Organize and effectively supervise students who participate in TPT after school programs.
b.
Handle community and disciplinary problems with tact and exercise good judgement in emergency situations.
c.
Travel to other District sites and locations.
Mobility to traverse all areas of the work site.
3.
Experience a.
One Year of experience in conducting enrichment and recreation activities.
4.
Special Requirements a.
A valid Red Cross First-Aid Certificate and TB test and completion of Risk Management seminar must be obtained within 90 days after employment.
B.
Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a must for the language teacher ASP Counselors should:
1.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
