Portfolio Accountant
Summary of
Job Description:
The Accountant position is responsible for updating the fixed assets worksheet and verifying assets detail in the accounting system.
This position reconciles and updates all Joint Venture/Investment capital accounts and issues checks for the capital contribution to all investment payments.
The Accountant assists with the monthly close, including preparation of lead schedules, preparing and posting of journal entries, and maintenance of the general ledger.
You'll get a chance to:
Responsible for accounts payable for the following:
Personal, CFT, Panda Charitable Foundation, Trusts, and Investment Entities.
Review invoices, bills, vouchers, or other documents and enters them into the applicable accounting software for Urgent check request.
Manage and record daily on-line accounts payable activities.
Responsible for Cherng quarterly payroll tax filing and year end W-2/W-3 preparation.
Responsible for monthly sales tax return filing.
Assist with the monthly close, including preparation of lead schedules, preparing and posting ofjournal entries, and maintenance of the general ledger.
Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
Responsible for reconciling and importing Utilities billing from Ecova & Conservice.
Maintain and oversee interest for all new projects and credit lines and applies interest expenses allocation accurately and consistently.
Participate in the preparation of accurate and timely quarterly Cherng personal financial statements.
Perform research on various accounting issues and prepares proposed AJE.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Minimum one to two years of relevant experience Successful completion of initial and periodically required training Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
If hired, successful completion of annual store training If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine.
Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.
