2 Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles, CA 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Under the supervision of the Optometry Manager or designee, performs as a responsible team member all functions related to appointments scheduling and front desk duties in a high-volume clinic setting, including facilitation of appointments for patients through the SHS / Faculty and Staff referral process.
Major duties include utilizing/maintaining an efficient appointments system; routing patients into the patient flow system; determining eligibility to use SHS / Faculty and Staff services; facilitating patient/clinician communication; and performing clerical and administrative duties for the unit as needed.

Skill in using a PC, and knowledge of software such as MS Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Knowledge of UCLA OASIS-AIS computer to verify students' registration status and confirm eligibility.
Can be trained 16.
Working knowledge of UCLA telephone system, Medical Center paging system, and SHS / Optometry telephone and paging systems.
