Summary:
- The Supply Chain SAP System & Process Lead needs to be comfortable in a SAP environment and curious with System aspects.
They will be the SAP Key User for the Distribution team, monitoring interfaces, defining business parameters/setup and be the business point of contact for all IT related aspects.
- Though he / she will be heavily involved in Systems & SAP specifically, they will be part of the business team and report to the Distribution Manager directly.
- This position works directly with Key Business Partners (Distribution members, Planning, Warehouse, Customer Service, IT, Finance, Customs Broker) to ensure aligned working relationships and processes, resulting in achievement of stated objectives.
Operational activities:
- Monitor & resolve interface issues between SAP, Warehouse Control System & other Logistic partners.
- Verify & Fix stock discrepancies through Sale Orders adjustments- Perform adjustments in SAP on various processes needing manual workaround- Support new Customer / new Country creation in SAP by validating shipping conditions, transportation zone & other related set up.
- Provide SAP Business parameters/set up recommendations, including Routes, Transportation Zone, Shipping Points logic, Zholiday, Weight group- Perform Route Schedule maintenance in SAP- Support OTIF (On time In Full) failure analysis for Distribution- Provide insight & explanation of varied Sale Order dates calculationDistribution Team support:
Support daily requests from the Distribution team (order management, question on specific process, reports etc) as well as other departments:
Customer Service, Planning, Quality, 3PL, Customs BrokerParticipate in developing new reports for BI- data warehouse.
Train new users on SAPCreate and update SAP training proceduresParticipate in SAP testing:

Experience:
Bachelors degree required, in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering or a Business-related field.
Masters Degree/MBA/CPA preferred.
Highly relevant equivalent work experience may be substituted.
Must have at least 7
work experience within a global warehousing & distribution environment and possess a deep understanding of Supply Chain warehousing, distribution, and order fulfillment processes.
Other related industries include a highly regulated environment, medical device/diagnostic, healthcare, or biotech.
CSCP certification is preferred.
Required to understand the interfaces and impact of Supply Chain and Operations processes to other business areas.
Understand the complexities of a large ERP.
Demonstrated project management experience of complex, cross-functional initiatives is required; PMP certification is a plus.
Must have outstanding project management skills - ability to define a detailed project plan, manage resources, articulate and resolve outstanding issues, manage project schedules and budgets.
Prior experience working with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Inventory Management (IM) required.
Prior experience implementing global SAP supply chain modules preferred.
Possesses outstanding oral and written communications skills with the ability to represent highly complex topics to any level of the organization.
Continuous Improvement Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of Sarbanes/Oxley and general regulatory processes is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
