52 an hour Description As the Hospital Pre-Biller, you will be responsible for:
Reviewing and reconciling accounts listed in the Quality Assurance Reports Handling late charges, Blue Cross and Medicare Inpatient Electronic Remittance Advise and all unbilled and billed accounts with similar visit dates Reviewing and completing pre-bill edit reports, missing charges reports, capture charges reports, different dates reports, overlap reports and work discharge reports for missing authorizations Reviewing and reconciling transfer charges, combine charges, charge backs to departments, closure of IARs, adjustments, rebills, updating patient demographics, payor data Notify cash posting of errors with a focus on the highest level of quality, accuracy and completeness Salary Range:
$25.

52/hourly Qualifications We're seeking an exceptional, self-directed and highly detail-oriented professional with:
Experience in billing and collections, hospital billing experience highly desired Knowledge of billing guidelines General knowledge of billing and reimbursement issues in order to clearly address departmental or payor questions Exceptional communication, interpersonal and math skills as well as solid independent judgment Typing and computer proficiency with MS Office Ability to work at a CRT performing repetitive work, in a sedentary environment, for extended periods.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
