This is a 6-month contract opportunity based out of Los Angeles, CA.
As an Aladdin Team Business Analyst Senior, you will take the initiative to drive results for the greater good of the Fixed Income Business.
You will coordinate and work effectively with key stakeholders in CFII, IO, IG, IT, and Legal/Compliance, roll up your sleeves, connect the dots, and work towards contributing to strategic discussions.
Demonstrate knowledge in assigned areas and will be an experienced sole contributor.
Demonstrate advanced analytical skills and develop a strong knowledge of Capital Fixed Income Investor's (CFII) products, operations, and services.
Help support strategies and business plans that align with CFII's mission and objectives.
Lead initiatives with broad business impact.
Support CFII within the broader context of client activities (e.
g.
, investment units, operations, and marketing).
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Aladdin preferred.
Previous experience in fixed income, business analysis, and/or project management responsibilities.
Demonstrates knowledge of standard processes, tools and deliverables, process mapping, process design, and requirements gathering.
Demonstrates knowledge of investment mandates, investment vehicle structures, investment operations, competitive landscape, and reporting/regulatory environments preferred.
Business insight as it relates to external practices, trends, technology, and information affecting various departments and business areas is preferred.
Demonstrates ability to comfortably handle risk and uncertainty to effectively cope with ambiguous situations.
Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates, senior business leaders, and a diverse group of individuals outside the organization.
Develops solutions for current and future needs.
Responsibilities:
Support strategies and business plans that align with CFII's mission and objectives Provide in-depth analysis to formulate recommendations and solutions based on key Aladdin business processes (e.
g.
, Portfolio Management, Trading, and Investment Operations).
Develop solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation; ensure solutions are consistent with organizational and business objectives.
Demonstrate an understanding of the Fixed Income lifecycle.
Represent AT and collaborate with functional groups to identify and facilitate knowledge sharing in a variety of interactions.
Develops best processes and practices for AT Proactively reviews and provides inputs to support the preparation of Aladdin procedures and best practices within CFII and IO.
Assesses risk and ensures best practices are aligned with current business needs.
Ensures AT's policies, processes, and procedures are followed.
Assists in production support and application ownership activities Assists in business analysis processes to provide business units with production issue triage and resolution.
Provides Aladdin audit, regulatory, and due diligence support.
Partners on Business Continuity Plans related to Aladdin.
Coordinates a variety of projects and initiatives within CFII to ensure alignment with business plans and strategy.
Performs additional responsibilities as assignedPay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA:
$60/hour to $65/hour.
Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
