73 an hour Job Overview A Valet Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while parking and retrieving customer vehicles in a safe and timely mann Duties & Responsibility Park and retrieve customers' vehicles in a safe and timely manner Assist customers and their passengers in and out of their vehicles, including helping them with their luggage and personal item Total, process and collect payments from guests and all parking transactions to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, managing a bank, reporting discrepancies, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards, vouchers and credit Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with both customers and employee Provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner Welcome and acknowledge all customers according to company standards; anticipate and address customers' needs and thank customers with a genuine appreciation Control traffic to ensure a smooth flow at all times, while ensuring pedestrians are saf Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle key Verify the necessary supplies at the start of each shif Maintain a neat and orderly valet stand at all times that is free of debris and tras Complete the necessary end of shift documentation and transfer vehicle keys and supporting tickets to the next shift's employee Monitor and maintain safety, security and cleanliness of parking area Arrive in complete uniform before and during scheduled shift Must work with or without supervision Comply with quality assurance expectations and standard May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance task Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisor Qualifications & Requirement Must be able to safely drive an automatic and manual transmission (stick shift) Must be 18 years of age or older Have and maintain a valid California driver's license Must be able to provide a valid/acceptable driving record Ability to read and comprehend English verbal instructions and written correspondence Valet experience preferred, but not mandatory Must be able to bend and squat frequently Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Flexible in working PM, weekends and holidays when applicable Physical Demands Most work tasks are performed outdoors.
The worker is subject to noise.
There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space and to reach other locations of the hotel on a timely basis Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.

Attends and participates in all pertinent meetings (Daily Stand Up).
Safety Requirement Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety.
The hotel will provide the required PPE.
Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE.
It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your manager Grooming All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
