As a Cashier, you will multitask between preparing beverages and processing transactions.
Responsibilities include:
Process customer transactions on a computerized cash register station Follow beverage recipes and coffee standards Maintain and organize work station for cleanliness and orderliness, ensure that areas are appropriately filled and stocked Reconciliation of daily cash reports and securing deposits in a proper manner Assist assigned areas including food service stations as required by operational needs This is a part-time as needed per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary.

38 Hourly Qualifications Required:
Demonstrated skills in handling computerized cash registers to process transactions.
Skill in making change, handling currency, and being able to recognize counterfeit bills easily.
Skill in performing basic bookkeeping transactions.
Mathematical skills to insure accuracy in calculating and generating deposits and postings according to University Policy.
Ability to adhere to all Departmental, University, and Hospital policies as relevant to cash handling procedures.
Ability to function fully as a team member, participating in on-going performance improvement projects.
Ability to interact with both internal and external customers in a high volume operation with diplomacy and patience.
Ability to stand, bend, walk, reach, lift, push, and pull for prolonged periods of time in hot and cold areas.
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
Knowledge of and adherence to all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by JC and HACCP standards.
Skill in reading, speaking, and writing English.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
