We are seeking a Technical Product Manager for our client team that has a deep understanding of technical product management and a proven track record of working with engineering teams to ensure product success.
Our focus for this opportunity is someone that has exceptional experience in Product methodology.
The ideal consultant will have experience in the media entertainment industry, specifically with internal business-facing products that may be related to Program Scheduling or Content Sales.
The Product Manager must have excellent communication skills and be able to bring different teams together to understand the driving business needs, and translate those into finished successful products that deliver value.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver on the product roadmap.
Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our internal business-facing products.
Collaborate with the Design Team & other Product Managers to improve the customer journey, customer experience, user experience for the client across all platforms Oversee all stages of the product life cycle, from conception to launch, and post-launch performance.
Understand customer needs and gather product requirements.
Develop new insights into solutions that result in organizational improvements or product innovations.
Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends.
Use this information to drive strategic decisions about the product portfolio.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
Define, track, and improve key product metrics to understand the effectiveness of product initiatives.
Identify potential risks and create strategies to mitigate them in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap, aligning it with company objectives and key results (OKRs).
Regularly communicate updates to stakeholders.
Design and implement A/B tests if needed to understand user behavior, validate new features, and drive product optimization.
Facilitate story pointing sessions with the engineering team to estimate the effort required for each user story.
This will help in sprint planning and backlog refinement.
Lead Agile practices within the team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
The consultant should have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to coach the team on best practices.
Act as a driving force for the engineering teams, helping to guide them through the development process, remove blockers, and ensure that the product vision is clearly understood and implemented effectively.
Qualifications Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role in the media entertainment industry.
Prior experience working closely with engineering teams and scoping work effort Experience in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with internal facing business teams and building internal products.
Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years of Enterprise Technical Product Management experience Must have solid experience with Agile processes and methodology leading teams using best practices SQL query skill and basic understanding of coding principles Must have experience working with both business and technical engineering teams.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred to have prior Media or Entertainment experience (but not required) The US pay range for this contract position is $40-$60/hour.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
