Summary:
Assemble production mechanical, electrical units and associated assemblies.
Lockwire, identify and make nameplates as noted on engineering drawings.
Performmiscellaneous, related duties.

Assemble mechanical, electrical assemblies working to shop orders (JobInstruction Sheets), diagrams, drawings and spec sheets.
Assemble mechanical parts associated with actuators, solenoids, coils, proximityswitches and fields, etc.
Solder assembliesAssemble complete units working under supervision, safety wires.
Operate light machines, presses and name plate marking equipment.

Education, Experiences, Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level,education, training, minimum years of experience, product or industry knowledge plusany certifications in order to be considered.
High school diploma or GED,Or vocational training,Or mechanical aptitude,Or any combination of the above.
Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for longperiods and stand to perform work.
The employee is required to reach with hands andarms and talk or hear.

Specific vision abilities required by this job includeclose vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

Occasionally required to lift up to 30 lbs.

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.

Safety glasses, shop coat/apron, proper shoes.

Occasional exposure to shop element such as noise, dust, odors and fumes.

Materials worked on:
Parts and components from ferrous metals, non-ferrousmetals, electrical wires, safety wires, housings, etc.
Equipment used:
Voltage and resistance equipment, presses and name platemarking equipment.
Tools used:
General hand tools associated with assembly.
