The Administrative Assistant III (AA3) will provide patient care support services and other clerical & general administrative duties for the Children's Heart Center and pediatric non-invasive Cardiodiagnostics clinic.
The AA3 will work collaboratively with various teams for financial questions/concerns identified by the patient, parent or guardian.
The AA3 will be assigned tasks not limited to but includes:
Answering, triaging and responding to patient phone calls Assisting patients with scheduling diagnostic tests, preparing for clinic visits and follow up on referrals and orders Coordination of care Insurance authorization and verification Obtaining insurance verification and referral authorizations, referral work queues, process requests for medical records, and other general administrative duties Scheduling clinic appointments Salary Range:
$28.
23 - $40.
44 Hourly Qualifications o Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationship with medical, nursing and administrative personnel o Demonstrated basic knowledge of physician office policies and procedures o Extensive experience in organizing workflow in order to accomplish established objectives o High degree of adaptability o Knowledge of Medical terminology o Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
