80 per hour Reporting to the Senior Associate Registrar, the Assistant Registrar, Exhibitions will organize and manage exhibitions both onsite at LACMA and traveling exhibitions in collaboration with museums across the country.
Responsibilities Review facility reports and exhibition agreements with collaborating institutions; communicate LACMA's conservation, installation and security requirements, and ensure requirements are met Review and negotiate loan agreements with lenders, and communicate conservation, installation and Sec urity requirements to staff Work with LACMA staff and collaborating institutions to make crating, shipping, and courier Arrangements Plan and manage the installation and de-installation schedules for each exhibition Assemble and maintain digital condition reports Take packing notes during installations Create installation notes for traveling exhibitions Travel with exhibitions to oversee installation/de-installations of LACMA-organized exhibitions at other venues.
