Program assistants (PAs) serve as both traditional camp counselors, responsible for student supervision and recreational activities, and classroom aides, supporting the instructor within the classroom.
Specific tasks and responsibilities in the classroom might include assisting with instructional preparation, aiding the instructor with classroom management, taking notes about student performance, tutoring students, helping with clerical tasks such as typing and photocopying, and generally helping to ensure that the class runs smoothly.
PAs are the primary staff members responsible for supervising students during lunch, breaks, and afternoon activities.
As part of their supervisory duties, PAs assist with morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
Dates of employment are Session One:
June 23rd-July 12th and/or Session Two:
July 14th-August 2nd.
Workdays are weekdays Monday-Friday.
Hours are approximately 8-4:

Program assistants receive a stipend of $1,739 per session and lunch daily.
The program is located at the Mirman School in Los Angeles, CA, and staff must have their own transportation to and from the program.
