15 an hour Description THIS POSITION IS FOR SUMMER LAB PROGRAM APPLICANTS ONLY Under supervision of the Principal Investigator and Laboratory Coordinator, the Laboratory Helper provides technical support to members of the research team on a number of projects from the lab and to actively collaborate by participating on current Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Studies.
Scientific job duties include maintaining various human primary cancer cell lines, fluorescent activated cell sorting (FACS) and molecular cloning for viral-vector generation for gene transfer experiments.
Laboratory duties include maintaining research records, maintaining laboratory stocks, ordering supplies and consumables for research projects, and oversee lab functions maintaining optimal compressed gas levels and proper equipment operation.
This is a part-time, 40%, limited appointment, 3-month program that may convert to career.

Hourly Salary Range:

15 Qualifications Required:
Basic Knowledge on Molecular Biology, Cancer Cell Biology, Immunology and Immunotherapy Very well organized and highly dependable Highly motivated to learn new skills and techniques.
Basic laboratory skills including organization, preparing common lab reagents, pipetting and working with human primary cancer cells.
Ability to lift/push/pull up to approximately 50 lbs.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with campus departments and the public.
Current Good Laboratory Practices Standards Compliance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
