DOE Status:
Full time Vista West Properties is seeking a LIHTC / HUD Compliance Specialist to assist with affordable housing compliance and tenant certifications for properties in Southern California.
Candidate will be well versed in all current aspects of tax credit and related programs.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Compliance Director and Community Managers to maintain compliance and procedures including reporting to city, county, state, and bond agencies.
Must be able to review and audit resident files to ensure that all paperwork and affordability requirements are being met.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Experience with affordable housing compliance, e.
g.
LIHTC, HOME, HUD.
Knowledge of Yardi or other affordable housing software Knowledge of software such as Word and Excel Basic math proficiency required Ability to take initiative and work independently Ability to manage complex files and comply with deadlines Bilingual with English and Spanish is a plus Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills Work patiently, professionally and cooperatively with residents.
Work well with a diverse staff in a professional manner.
