ACCOUNTANT

Then look no further! We are seeking a full-time Accountant who will assist the accounting team in carrying out the responsibilities of the department.
Previous experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable, commercial/residential project accounting and invoicing in a construction environment is highly desirable.
Essential Duties:
Billing and Cash application (AR duties) Bank and Credit Card reconciliations.
Posting and coding of vendor invoices (AP duties) Matching of material/component purchase orders/requisitions to vendor invoices.
Post credit card transactions into accounting system Posting of bank deposits to the cash account.
Process referral and reimbursement payments.
Scan all documents, checks and invoices and attach to accounting system.
Other duties as assigned including balance sheet reconciliations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience or AA degree with 7 years of experience Degree in Accounting preferred but business admin OK with minimum of 4 accounting courses (Basic 1 and 2, Cost, Intermediate) Working knowledge of Excel, MS Office or G-Suite, Outlook or Gmail.
QuickBooks experience preferred but knowledge of other integrated accounting systems acceptable.
Ability to efficiently handle high transaction volume environment while not sacrificing accuracy.
