Sr. Propulsion Engineer – Design Integration

We are a diverse group of problem solvers who are currently seeking a team mate to join us in lowering the cost of access to space.
This position will help advance Blue Origin's historic vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.
As a Propulsion Engineer you will join other passionate and accomplished experts to deliver technically mature liquid rocket engine assemblies and spaceflight hardware.
The group's scope encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from initial requirements to final delivery.
Our overarching goal is facilitating design evolution and production at scale.
Your team will provide new or revised design releases for a variety of primary/secondary structures, heat exchangers, gimbal joints, flexible elements, insulation, and pressurized cryogenic fluid systems.
Work will incorporate knowledge from test campaigns, and builds, at multiple Blue Origin Sites and will support hardware non-conformances and root cause analysis for these same efforts.
In this role you will partner with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Propulsion/Responsible Engineers from adjacent groups.
Here you will exercise your technical judgement to inform solutions for development and manufacturing, optimally balancing risk and design, in support of all Blue Origin programs.
You will also have the opportunity to hone your leadership skills by mentoring, training, and collaborating with peers on various assignments.
Successful candidates will possess an attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple technical challenges, a demonstrated knowledge of engineering releases, configuration management, and strong fundamentals of mechanical engineering design using advanced materials and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:
8
years proven experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle component/assembly design, manufacturing, and test.
Strong mechanical design skills, including initial sizing/analysis/calculations.
Proficiency in CAD and large assembly model management and configuration (Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM preferred).
Knowledgeable with GD&T implementation and analysis (ASME Y14.
5).
Working knowledge of aerospace materials, treatments and manufacturing.
B.
S.
degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Desired:
Experience in the design, production, manufacturing, and assembly of rocket propulsion hardware.
Experience with cryogenic fluids and oxygen compatibility.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
