Construction Administrative Assistant

Axiom Group Axiom Group Los Angeles, CA Los Angeles, CA Full-time Full-time $20 - $25 an hour $20 - $25 an hour We are looking for an entry-level, intuitive Construction Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis! The ideal candidate would have experience in construction administration and/or office administration and a positive, easy-going attitude.
Axiom Group is a small business, general contractor and we specialize in Public Works construction.
We are located in the City of Los Angeles 90032, and we take pride in building long-lasting relationships with our clients and within the company.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, filing, scanning and faxing documents Provide bookkeeping support and payment processing Vendor coordination, office supplies, shipping/receiving mail, and expense reporting and entry File all backup for payments, maintenance of all files, payroll records and timesheets, and related documents Coordinate and execute bid preparation and bid calendar scheduling; attend pre-bid meetings and job walks Assist labor compliance with weekly certified payroll reports and document control Maintain flexibility and openness to learn and take on additional projects as necessary Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred Experience with MS Excel, Quickbooks or LCP Tracker preferred Ability to work in an office environment (typing/sitting) and use of office equipment (scanning/printing/phones) Exceptional follow through skills and ability to multitask, problem solve, plan, and execute work independently Always maintain the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality, protect company and client proprietary information Willingness to learn and positive attitude Must possess valid driver license, reliable means of transportation, a clean driving record

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
