Overview
We are currently seeking an Integrated Disability Case Manager who will specialize in working with employers for their Return to Work programs. This work is generally performed virtually but in some instances will require on-site at employer locations.
Individuals should have college degree RN, CCM, CDMS or similarly display of credential of the principals of Disability management and knowledge of ADAAA interactive process.
Individuals work with employees, employer supervisors, HR members of employers to document the interactive dialogue in attempts to accommodation individual employees with physical or non exertion work limitations.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Classifying quality of diagnoses, treatment plans, conformance with treatment plan and rate of recovery.
Keeping return to work a priority therapeutic goal.
Maintaining clinical and administrative records which document communications, decisions, actions, and the basis thereof in an orderly fashion.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the integrated disability management function.
Using Clinical/nursing/case management skills to help coordinate the employee's individual treatment plan while maximizing cost containment.
Serving as intermediary to interpret and educate the employee on his/her disability, and the treatment plan established by physician. Explaining Physician's and Therapists instructions and answering any other questions the employee may have to facilitate his/her return to work.
Working with Physicians and Therapists to arrange medical assessments to develop an overall treatment plan to ensure cost containment, best medical care while meeting state and other regulatory guidelines.
Researching and assessing alternative treatment programs such as pain clinics, home healthcare, and work hardening as well as coordinating with OC Wellness Program.
Coordinating all aspects of employee's enrollment into the programs, and monitoring his/her progress, in an effort to maximize cost containment and minimize time away from work.
Working with employer and any applicable, union representatives, Safety, OHN and plant physicians to identify and develop transitional/modified duty based on medical limitations and employees functional abilities. Assisting in development of transitional work programs when necessary in effort to return employee to work. Participating in Work Transition meetings.
Documenting and reporting all case activity is critical for accurate case management record keeping.
Maintaining all case documents in employee files ensuring comprehensive and detailed source of information for all parties to the claim.
Maintaining contact with all parties involved to monitor, update and advance case activity to ensure progress of the cases
Keeping abreast of local Worker's Compensation laws and regulations, as well as other issues affecting the rehabilitation field. This is critically important for keeping licenses and certifications valid.
Managing Short Term Disability & LTD according to employer plan design.
Sending all STD/FMLA application to employee.
Documenting and reporting all case activity critical for accurate case management record keeping. Maintaining e-mail and phone contact with all parties involved to monitor, update and advance case activity to ensure progress of the case.
Reviewing medical records for appropriate treatment/duration of Disability.
Assisting employees in application for Social Security Disability Benefits, approved for SSDI, Coordinate offset with Payroll, Coordinate Reimbursements for WC and Third Party Suits, Manage EAP case with consultation from EAP Department, Discuss legal issues with Corporate Legal as needed FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and terminations.
Managing LTD application process.
Medically managing all Workers' Compensation Claims.
Qualifications
B.S., B.A., in vocational evaluation, special education, behavioral psychology, or related field required. Masters level and/or advanced study strongly preferred or as required by state law.
Prior vocational case management experience preferred.
Must meet all vocational case management eligibility requirements of the state/jurisdiction of hire; or
In the case of an individual in a state that does not require licensure or certification, the individual must have a baccalaureate or graduate degree in social work, or another health or human services field that promotes the physical, psychosocial, and/or vocational well-being of the persons being served.
CRC, CCM, CDMS, LRC, or CVE eligibility required. Actual certification preferred, or as required by state law.
Prior Case Management experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills, phone manners, and organizational skills necessary.
Ability to set priorities and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Computer literacy required.
Ability to create and follow administration, communication and information systems.
Respond quickly and thoroughly to questions and concerns while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding proprietary company information.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of developments in the medical case management field.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
