Interface is currently seeking an Account Executive in Los Angeles, CA.
The Account Executive is responsible for generating sales, identifying and qualifying business opportunities and presenting Interface products to customers as well as preparing formal proposals and leading negotiations to close the sale.
Qualification:
Educational requirements:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent educational background is preferred
Skills and
Experience:
Prefer at least three years of sales experience, preferably in the textile, carpet or furniture industry
Strong business acumen
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to plan and prioritize independent work schedule
Essential duties:
Identify and qualify business opportunities within their assigned territories either geographically or by defined accounts
Present Interface products to customers
Prepare formal proposals
Lead negotiations
Coordinate complex decision-making processes with customers
Identify and remove barriers to closing the sale
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with dealers, end users, and designers as well as any other key decision makers.
Provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts to management
Manage all expenses within budget set and submit expense reports promptly per policy
Input data into Siebel to ensure database is current
Perform other duties as assigned
