Fox DCG seeks a highly qualified and driven candidate to join ourtechnical management team to manage the implementation of mobile and OTTapplications for multiple network brands. The Sr. Manager, Technology worksalongside other Technical Managers to oversee outside consultants and vendordevelopment teams on the implementation of iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, Xboxand other online video experiences and related platforms as well as supportingvideo and content workflows. Though not a hands-on development role, you areexpected to understand application development, online video, advertisinganalytics and systems architecture as well as run meetings and work closelywith product owners and project managers to translate business requirementsinto technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Overseenew/ongoing development and maintenance of mobile and connected deviceapplications across multiple device platforms such as iOS, Android, Apple TV,Roku and Xbox
Architectscalable data-driven application frameworks and solutions
Bea subject matter expert; provide in-depth knowledge of mobile applicationsdevelopment and services
Managemultiple teams of vendor developers; work closely with product stakeholders totranslate business requirements into technical requirements for implementationteams; work closely with development team to estimate effort for and implementfeatures and resolve bugs
Workwith complex video and content feed structures and formats
Providetechnical specifications and documentation
Managecommunication with business units for new feature requests and ongoing servicesupport
Evaluatebest practices, trends and technologies, partners and vendors
Identifyand develop opportunities for creating new and improve existing tools andprocesses for greater efficiency, higher quality, client satisfaction, andrevenues
