Sr. Sales Engineer - Public Sector (A&D)

This is an opportunity to work at a company that is changing the way information supports business decisions. You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and advocate for our products and services. Splunk SEs must be able to answer technical questions from customers regarding Splunk technology, features, solutions, applications as well as articulate Splunk technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. You must be able to identify all technical issues of your assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process, and you must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customer's technical staff.

Highly desirable attributes:
Prior Sales Engineering experience (5
years of SE or equivalent SE+PS experience)
Unix/Linux and/or Windows system administration experience
Domain expertise in one or more of the following:
IT Operations, Security Operations, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Application Management, IoT, etc
Experience providing software (or other technical) demonstrations to both technical and executive/non-technical audiences
Knowledge of a scripting or programming language
g., Python, Ruby, bash, javascript, etc.
Experience interfacing with technical, non-technical, and business users in a high-pressure environment to convey both the technical value and business value of a software or hardware solution
Other desirable differentiators:
Experience architecting enterprise wide solutions
Prior experience using Splunk in an operational context
Experience designing and implementing analytic dashboards or other visualizations in a production environment
University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or similar course of study - equivalent professional experience will be considered for highly-qualified candidates

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
