Manager, Enterprise Hosting Services at City National Bank Los Angeles, CA 90189
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The successful candidate will be responsible for all infrastructure hosting services including servers, operating system builds, storage, hosting, configuration management, asset lifecycle, virtualization, cloud solutions, backups, and disaster recovery.
The successful candidate will also be an expert in supporting the Banks public Azure cloud, will have extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, will lead major projects and will be a source of reference for engineers, ensuring smooth delivery and operation of IT services.
The successful candidate will also partner closely with the engineering team to ensure a seamless integration between architecture/design and operations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?Train and mentor engineers and other members of the Infrastructure hosting team.
Develop high-level technical solutions, sustainable processes and standards in order to achieve the vision of smart manufacturing.
Primarily oversee City National Bank (CNB) on-premises infrastructure and drive simplification and modernization leveraging cloud capabilities.
Support the Data Centers, remote locations and public cloud environment in maintaining hardware, software and automation systems.
Improve monitoring and instrumentation.
Increase automation by applying AIOps principles.
Transform the current space to a hybrid cloud environment and design a go-forward hybrid cloud operating model.
Actively manage 3rd party vendors, local suppliers and providers to ensure services level achievements and aligning to CNB standards, e.

, security, architecture, policies, procedures and processes.
Participate in compliance and IT Risk management initiatives, including internal and external audits.
Develop and maintain documentation relating to all assigned systems.
Assist in defining data governance policies and procedures, such as disaster recovery plans.
Manage and direct the work of systems engineers.
Foster and maintain good relationships with colleagues to ensure that processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDMust-Have Bachelors Degree or equivalent Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects Minimum 5 years experience with AZURE Cloud management Minimum 2 years experience with Infrastructure-as-CodeSkills and KnowledgeExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Server Technologies and OS Administration, VMWare and/or other virtualization technologies.
Linux experience is highly desirable.
Experience with cloud migrations and operating in a hybrid cloud model.
Experience with Azure cloud environment hosting custom applications (IaaS, PaaS, Logs analysis/Monitoring/Alerting).
Infrastructure-as-Code knowledge.
Strong ability to create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of IT systems.
Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency and ownership of quality work deliverables.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and a positive, customer satisfaction mindset are critical to this position.
Experience with IT security and DR policy development and management.
Experience with ticketing systems, in particular ServiceNow, in an ITIL environment.
Experience working in a highly regulated environment, such as the financial industry, preferred.
