The Insight Director will work on our most challenging analytics problems, in order to provide actionable insights to stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial, Product, VIP, TV, Ops teams and guide data-driven decisions.
This role will be responsible for setting best practices for data science and analytics within the team and the wider organization.
Everyone on our team has a part to playWork closely with decision-makers across the company, to understand their goals, identify opportunities to use data to develop new insights and improve business resultsProvide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders, articulating complex technical concepts as necessary and making them understandable to a less technical audienceIdentify technological gaps and areas for innovation, working closely with the data teams to help developing and improving the current data structureDevelop, iterate and take to production machine learning models to solve problemsExplore and use different tools to improve scalability, and accelerate the conversion of data to insightBuild solutions for other teams to self-serve data as much as possible, speeding up their BAU and relying to one source of truthManage a team of data scientists / analysts setting high standards of excellence, focusing on quality and speed of delivery; mentor them and give them the right exposure to key stakeholders to have them improve and build trust within the companyBe able to see the bigger picture and collaborate with Insight and Analytics teams from other verticals; share knowledge with teams of the FanDuel group and FlutterWhat we're looking for in our next teammateBA/BS degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or comparable); Master's degree preferred7
years of industry experience in data science, analytics or engineering2
years of experience managing a teamExpert analytical and quantitative skills as well as knowledge of modern machine learning techniques, experimental design and statistical modelingFull understanding of engineering standards and practicesExpertise working with relational DBs (SQL, Redshift, etc.
)and proficiency in programming languages (Python or R, preferred)Effective communication skills to deliver actionable insights in a clear and understandable manner to decision-makers in non-technical departmentsAbility to work across teams, locations and time zonesCritical thinking, proactivity, attention to details, go-getter attitudeInterest or previous experience in sports or gaming preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
